Ladies Juleen Sippel was the sponsor for last Wednesday’s play which was a stableford competition won by Laraine Gurnett who is a past member of the club and a visitor for the day. She won on the countback from Jenny Briant both had 36 points. Juleen actually had the best score with 37 points and the other scores were Maureen Maynard 34, Jan Baulch, Margaret Kuhnemann and Anne Brown 33, Linda Edwards and Jan Edwards 29. Tuesday Treasurers Tuesday Treasurers are played on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Open to anyone with a Golflink number. Tuesdays’ winner was B Daw with 39 pts, runner up D Gittins with 37 pts ocb from M Hassan, followed by C Petrohlios ocb from B May with 36 pts. Ladies A magnificent winters’ morning greeted our ladies for a stableford competition sponsored by Laraine Gurnett. The winner with 37 pts was Jan Edwards closely followed by runner up Maureen Maynard with 36 pts. The ball run down went to Jan Baulch on 32 pts, and Laraine Gurnett with 31 pts. Ladies On a very windy day last Wednesday 10 ladies braved the conditions. The sponsor was Sandy Lee Café and this was won by Linda Hooke with a commendable score of 28 points.
