Golf Notes 2/1/23 – 8/1/23
Veterans:
The Veterans will kick start their year tomorrow at 8 am with a shot gun start, playing a stableford competition. Next week the Veterans will play a stableford competition.
Ladies:
The Summer competition has started and will go through to the 31st January, 2023.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters kicked started their year with a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, sponsored by B Davey & R Stinson. The winner was B Beasley with 32 pts, runner up D Beazley with 28 pts. The ball run down went to W Maudsley & B Davey 27 pts followed by M Gray & G Grimsey 26 pts and W Lovett 25 pts. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 4, while 9 was received by J McGrath. The Dugandan Dice winner was G Lutter in a toss off. This week the Sporters play the John Maynard Memorial, sponsored by the Maynard Family, playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week Sporters will play the John Allen Memorial playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, sponsored by R Scells.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by D Ryan & A Leary playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition. The winners were M & J Wyvill ocb from runners up P Gerhardt & D Gittins with 64 net. The ball run down went to M Weber & G Eviston 64¼, G Philp & G Parker 65¾, B Spall & K Milligan 66 net, followed by J Miles & C Bell 66¼, D Tutt & T Britton and A Lutter & R Maudsley 67 net and M Herrington & S Grace 67¼ and D Beazley & G Hunt 67¾. Pin Shots were received by Z Eviston & D Tutt on 4/13, J McGrath & D Kuhnemann received 8/17 while B Spall received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by BP Boonah playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. Next week will be sponsored by the Girls playing a stableford/monthly mug competition.
Sunday:
No Social club this week. Social play will be available at 7 if requiring a buggy.
