Veterans

Last Monday the Veterans played a Stableford event. The winner with 38 pts was A. Featherstone, runner up T. Lynch with 35 pts, followed C. Greet 33 pts, T. Richardson, C. Shannon, B. Brown all with 32 pts and D. Yeates 31 pts. The ntp’s were received by T. Richardson on 4/13, G. Sippel 8/17 & A. Brown received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to A. Henderson.

Wednesday Sporters

Last Wednesday the Sporters played for Murray O’Reilly’s trophy playing 10-18 + 7-9. The winner with 28 pts was T. Richardson, runner up E. Newlove with 25 pts on a countback from G. Parker, S. Fahey, G. Searle & F. Johnson. The next best were M. Crowther and J. Handley with 24 pts. The ntp’s were received by M. Crowther on 4, B. Brown 8/17 while F. Johnson received 9/18. This week is an 18 hole Stableford Shot Gun Start (1pm is the latest) Competition for Joe Dovers Trophy & the following week will be Far Outdoors, Boonah playing a stroke 1-9 + 16-18.

Friendly Fridays

Friday we had 16 players for Friendly Friday. The winner with 21 pts was V. Riley, while the runner up was M. Crowther with 20 pts. The run down went to A. Featherstone and V. Wilson both had 19 pts. Tee Off time is still 3 pm see you all then.

Saturday

The winner of the Ray Chant Memorial Sam Opperman pictured with Ray's brother and sister who sponsored the day.

Last Saturday we played the Ray Chant Memorial Trophy. The winner was a new young member Sam Oppermann with 65 net, runner up was M. Simpson with 67 net. Next best were W. Draheim, T. Lynch, G. Schmidt, A. Hertweck and J. McGrath with 68 net, M. Surawski, T. Domjahn & M. O’Reilly with 69 net, followed by W. Jackson, A. Gill, K. Dover, W. Gnech and B. Davey with 70 net and G. Balharry, P. King, M. McGarrity, T. Weatherhead and W. Lutter with 71 net. Pin Shots were received by T. Domjahn 4/13, 8/17 J. McGrath and 9/18 B. Hoskin. The Ladies winner was A. Brown with 81 net. The Pro Pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently being held by G. Searle with 125 cm. This week is W. Jackson, B. Freiberg & A. Bennetts Trophy, followed by R. W. Ramsey single stroke Monthly Medal. Timesheets are our now.

Chookies

There wasn’t any Chookies on Sunday so it will be held over until next week and you can tee off before 7.

Veterans

Last Monday the Veterans played a Stableford event. The winner with 41 pts was T. Richardson, runner up I. Smith with 40 pts, followed by P. Sheffield 39 pts, R. Brooks 38 pts, V. Wilson, J. Pearce with 37 pts and C. Greet, D. Yeates, P. Cooper and K. Chivers all with 36 pts. The ntp’s were received by G. Henderson 4/13, T. Lynch 8/17 & K. Cook received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to R. Harrison.

Last Wednesday the Sporters played for D. Forsyth’s Trophy, playing a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9 + 16-18. The winners with 40 ½ were R. Cuneo & G. Parker, runners up were B. Brooks & M. Crowther with 41 ½ the rundown went to W. Gnech & W. Hall 43 ¼, A. Featherstone & L. Vandenbrink 43 ½ and M. McGarrity & S. Fahey with 43 ¾. The ntp’s were received by A. Featherstone on 4, S. Fahey 8/17 while G. Parker received 9/18. This week is Murray O’Reilly’s trophy playing 10-18 + 7-9. The following week will be an 18 hole Stableford Shot Gun Start (1pm is the latest) Competition for Joe Dovers Trophy.

Next best were B. Davey with 40 pts, S. Francis, W. Maudsley, P. Whitney, A. Hertweck & D. Mortimer with 38 pts, followed by G. Ball, J. Smith, P. Dadds, W. Jackson, M. Gnech with 37 pts, and A. Gill, J. Bonk, J. McGrath. C. Shannon and K. Dover with 36 pts. Pin Shots were received by W. Jackson 4/13, while the ladies was won by S. Bennet, 8/17 K. Draheim and 9/18 B. Davey. Last Wednesday the Sporters played for John Gilletts Trophy playing a Stableford 10-18 + 7-9. The winner was W. Maudsley 27 pts while the runner up was G. Parker 23 pts. The run down went to R. Brooks with 22 pts. The ntp’s were received by A. Stick on13, 8/17 & 9/18 were received by W Maudsley. This week is D. Last Saturday was the Monthly Medal for February sponsored by Boonah Real Estate. The Monthly Medal for February is Scott Bennet. The A Grade winner was B. Gotke on a count back from A. Gill who became the runner up, both had 70 net, followed by J. McGrath with 71 net. The B. Grade winner was S. Bennet with 66 net, runner up was M Grayson 68 net followed by A. Featherstone with 70 net. The C Grade winner was G. Schmidt with 70 net, runner up D. Yeates on a count back from M. McGarrity both had 71 net. The ball rundown went to A. Hertweck 71 net, T. Moller, J. Handley, D. Mortimer & R. Philp all with 72 net, followed by B. Hoskin, M. Gnech, W. Hall, J. Smith & J. Browning all with 73 net. Pin Shots were on all holes and were received by B. Freiberg 1/10, 2/11 B. Gotke, 3/12 A. Gill, 4/13 C. Shannon while the ladies was won by A. Brown, 5/14 B. Freiberg, 6/15 A. Gill, 7/16 J. Browning with an Eagle, 8/17 G. Searle while the ladies was A. Brown and 9/18 G. Maynard. The Ladies winner was A. Brown with 79 net, while G. Buganey was the runner up with 80 net. This week is the Monthly Mug for February sponsored Eyecare Plus, and the following week is Ray Chant Memorial. Timesheets are our now. The Monthly winner for January is M. Grayson who will receive the bottle of Scotch.

Chookies

The Chookies winner is K. Eugarde. This week we have a small Social Club teeing off at 7 am, the Chookies can tee off before 7 or fit in after the social club have teed off.

Prize Draw for February
