Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 59 players, play a single stableford competition, for the Scenic Rim Open Day. The winner was T Roebig with 36 pts, runner up B May ocb with 35 pts. The run down went to D Forsyth, C Garrick & A Duffield 35 pts, D Mortimer 34 pts, followed by A Sami, W Hill, P Duncan, K Brown, W Lovett & B Mahony 33 pts and W Maudsley & M Gnech with 32 pts. The Ladies winner was K Saron with 37 pts, runner up was K Sami with 32 pts. The run down went to J Antcliff & P Major 31 pts, D Wall 30 pts, followed by D Reid 29 pts and M Smith & N Bell with 26 pts. Pin shots were received by B Mahony, L Blunt, P Duncan & J Browning while D Wall, G Bartholomew & J Antcliff received by Ladies.
Womens:
The Women had 13 players play a single stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy. The winner was N Stanfield with 70 net, runner up was L Edwards ocb from S Grace with 75 net. The run down continued with L Reinholdssson 76 net, D Kuhnemann 77 net & V Little with 79 net. The Pin shots were received by S Savery on 4/13 while S Grace on 8/17. This week will be a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by V Hume. This is an 8am Shotgun.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played a 4BBB stableford 10 – 18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, kindly sponsored by W Wieland & W Jones. The winners were D Stanfield & W Lovett with 32 pts, runners up were R Burnett & R Freeman with 31 pts. The run down went to M O’Reilly & C Farnan 30 pts, B Beasley & G Parker 29 pts, followed by B Shaw & P Schwarz, L Blunt & N Hooke and R Stinson & M Gray with 28 pts. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 13, M Dickson received 17 while B Beasley received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was S Fahey. This week will be sponsored by P Schwarz from Group 2 Acoustic Research, playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford competition with a 10.30 shot gun start, kindly sponsored by C Perrem & S Grace. The overall winner was S McKenzie with 41 pts. The A Grade winner was K Sawtell ocb from runner up B Lawrance with 37 pts. B Grade winner was P Schwarz ocb from runner up J Surawski with 38 pts. C Grade winner was H Marshall with 39 pts, runner up was D Stanfield with 38 pts. The womens winner was D Marshall with 39 pts, runner up was V Sampson with 38 pts. The run down went to G Yeomans, D Mortimer & A Parker 37 pts, G Philp 36 pts, S Grace 35 pts, E Bentley, S O’Connell, B Freiberg, N Stanfield & G Parker 34 pts, R Freeman, B May & A Tomlinson 33 pts, R Lawrie, G Maynard, J McGrath, M Oberle & C Jorgensen 32 pts, W Lovett, B Lynch, D Bass, J Miles, L Edwards, V Hume & S Reid with 31 pts and W Gnech, J Gurney, D Forsyth, D Wong, D Tomlinson & J Browning with 30 pts Pin shots were received by B Lawrance & S Savery on 4/13, S Reid received 7/16, D Beazley & V Hume received 8/17 while A Parker received 9/18. A Parkers’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot, Anthony was at presentation, so it will revert back to $20 this week. This Saturday will be playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by D Mortimer. This will be the next round of the Claret Jug Challenge.
Sunday: This week we have a large Social Club, teeing off at 8 am using all the buggies. Social play will be available after they have completed their round. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
