Monday the Veterans played the 1st round of their Championships. The winner was D Bass with 70 net, runner up was D Gittins with 72 net. The rundown went to E Vanhaften & R Lawrie 74 net, J Pritchard, J Trovatello, J Gurney, B Philp, W Lovett, M Gray & P Ross 76 net. Pin shots were received by T Henderson, W Maudsley & M Gray while J Pritchard received by Ladies.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 14 players, play a single stableford competition, for the Marlene Zurvas Memorial. The winner was N Stanfield with 38 pts, runner up S Savery with 36 pts. The run down went to S Grace & J Edwards with 34 pts, V Sampson 33 pts and L Reinholdsson 31 pts. Pin shots were received by B Dover on 4/13 while J Pritchard received 8/17. This week will be a Bisque Bogey kindly sponsored by D Marshall.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by the Maudsley Bros from BP Boonah, playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was K Hammond ocb from runner up L Blunt with 30 pts. The run down went to D Stanfield & C Shannon 29 pts, W Lovett & B Harding 25 pts, followed by G Eviston, W Hall & G Maynard with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by R Cuneo on 13, W Gnech received 17 while K Hammond received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was W Lovett. Saturday we played Dover Memorial sponsored by the Dover Family, playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Thanks to Kent & Family for the array of prizes on the Day. The Overall Winner was J Gurney with 40 pts. The Ladies Winner was S Savery with 38 pts, runner up was A Shaw with 33 pts ocb. The mens winner was A Parker with 37 pts, runner up was W Bentley ocb from J McGrath, R Freeman & C Jorgensen with 36 pts, followed by B Shaw & K Sawtell 35 pts and J Trovatello, C Stephan & G Parker with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by C Jorgensen & D Wall on 4/13, M Sharpe & A Leary received 8/17 while D Bass & S Savery received 9/18. This week will be a Team Competition sponsored by The Girls.
