Monday the Veterans didn’t play.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 12 brave players, playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was S Grace with 82 net, runner up B Dover with 83 net. The run down went to D Marshall 83 net, K Foote & T Reid Pocock 84 net and N Stanfield 86 net. Pin shots were received by T Reid Pocock on both 4/13 while 8/17. This week will be a single stableford competition for M Zurvas trophy. This will be the next round of the Consistency Cup.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by FIS Insurance, playing a 2 ball ambrose 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winners were B Lynch & K Hammond ocb from runners up M Ober & L Vandenbrink with 48 net The run down went to B Beasley & G Parker and C Jorgensen & D Tomlinson with 49 net. Pin shots were received by C Shannon on 4, R Cuneo received 8 while G Eviston received 9. The best gross for the day was B Beasley & G Parker with 51 off the stick. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was D Tomlinson. This week will be sponsored by the Maudsley Bros from BP Boonah, playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by the Butcher Co playing a stableford competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the 1st round of the Darvall Cup playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The ladies winner E Meagher with 67 net, runner up was A Tomlinson with 69 net. The mens winner was P McNiven with 69 net, runner up was B Lynch ocb from B Beasley & R Freeman with 70 net also ocb. The run down went to D Mortimer 70 net, S Reid, J Gurney, S Fahey & W Maudsley 71 net, followed by M Wyvill, W Gnech, G Eviston, D Spink, & J Lynch 72 net and G Larke, G Yeomans, S Savery, I Pocock, M Ryan & J McGrath with 73 net. Pin shots were received by M Wyvill & A Tomlinson on 4/13, J McGrath & N Masters received 8/17 while G Maynard & S Mckenzie received 9/18. This week will be the Dover & Sons Memorial playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be a Team Competition sponsored by The Girls.
Sunday:
Sunday we played the 2nd round of the Darvall Cup. Thanks to the Darvall Family for the continued support of this event. The Darvall Cup winners for 2025 are Ian Pocock & E Meagher. Congratulation. The daily competition winner was D Green with 68 net, runner up was D Tomlinson with 70 net. The Ladies winner was A Tomlinson ocb from runner up E Meagher with 71 net. The run down went to P Gerhardt 71 net, I Pocock, C Jorgensen & C Bell 72 net, W Martin, B Sampson, J Lynch & J Browning 73 net, followed by S Reid & T Reid Pocock 74 net and A Gill, R Cuneo & G Yeomans 75 net. The pin shots were received by C Bell & S McKenzie on 4/13, 8/17 was received by B Lynch & S McKenzie while 8/17 was received by J Browning & E Meagher.
This Sunday we have a big social club using all the buggies. No social play will be available in the morning. You can ring the club and book your round, along with a buggy if wanting one in the afternoon.
