Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 24 players, play a single stroke competition. The winner was R Burnett with 69 net, runner up was B May with 72 net ocb. The run down went to D Forsyth 72 net, D Stanfield 73 net, D Beazley 74 net, T Henderson & G Hunt 75 net, followed by W Hall, R Freeman & W Maudsley with 76 net. Pin shots were received by B May, G Hunt, D Bass & C Petrohilos while K Tuner & N Mulligan received the ladies.
Womens:
The Women had 29 players play a single stableford competition, for their Invitational Day kindly sponsored by T Stinson. The winner was D Bass with 38 pts, runner up was R Picton with 37 pts. The run down went to S Grace & B May with 36 pts. The pin shot on 4/13 was received by R Picton & G Hunt while 8/17 was received by V Hume & D Bass. This week will be a 3 club stableford with a twist competition, kindly sponsored by D Kuhnemann.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by N Hooke playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was C Shannon with 30 pts, runner up was B Beasley with 28 pts. The run down went to J McGrath 27 pts, L Blunt, S Lee & N Hooke 26 pts, followed by M Wyvill, B Shaw, J Strutt, L Vandenbrink & J Lynch with 24 pts Pin shots were received by R Cuneo on 13, while B Beasley received 17. The Achievements of the day was B Beasley having an under par round. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was G Eviston. This week will be The Joe Dover Memorial kindly sponsored by his family, playing s 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 4 Ball Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by Bendigo Bank. The winners were D Spink, R Higgs, P Dadds & W Martin with 54.5, runners up were S Fahey, J Grimsey, C Wilson & G Elliott with 54.625, followed by A Hertweck, L & G Saunders & R Cuneo with 56.5. The run down went to P McNiven, D Mortimer, D Bass & N Mulligan, and T Alchin, K Sawtell, B Lawrance & S Bailey 56.875, N Dean. W Maudsley, J Louttit & S Avery 57 net, P Swartz, S Lutter, B Calabrese & D Baldwin 57.25, B May, J Browning, M Gnech & J Beasley 57.325, K Wilson, B Lynch, B & C Perrem 57.625, P Willett, P King, R Maudsley & J McGrath 57.75, followed by A & S Bennett, A Parker & K Hammond and A & M Radloff, T Reid Pocock & I Pocock with 58 net. Pin shots were received by D Spink, T Alchin, B Lynch, A Gill & G Elliott on 3/12, V Sampson received 4/13, I Pocock received 8/17 and A Parker recieved 9/18. B Lynchs’ name was randomly selected to the Captains Pot. Brad was at presentation so it will revert back to $20 this week. This Saturday will be a single stroke competition, kindly sponsored by J Collins.
Sunday: This week we have a Social Club, using all the buggies. Social play will be available on conclusion of play. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
