Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 37 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was W Lovett with 45 pts, runner up was T Henderson with 44 pts. The run down went to B May 41 pts, K Brown 38 pts, D Forsyth & D Bass 35 pts, followed by D Stanfield, G Clark & J Browning 33 pts and G Hunt, R Burnett & S Edwards with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by K Brown, G Clark & B May.
Womens:
The Women had 16 players play a 3 club stableford with a twist competition, kindly sponsored by D Kuhnemann. The winner was A Mazzei, runner up was S Savery. The pin shot on 4/13 was received by D Marshall while 8/17 was received by S Savery. The run down went to B Dover, T Stinson, V Hume & J Dover. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy. This is an 8am Shotgun start.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played The Joe Dover Memorial kindly sponsored by his family, playing a 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 stableford competition. The winner was B Sampson with 27 pts, runner up was T Roebig with 26 pts ocb. The run down went to L Blunt & G Hunt 26 pts, W Lovett, W Hall, & J McGrath 25 pts, followed by C Jorgensen, M O’Reilly & R Burnett with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by T Henderson on 4, W Lovett received 8 while G Hunt received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was L Blunt. This week will be sponsored by Miles Ahead Plumbing playing a 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6, 2 ball Ambrose competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke competition, kindly sponsored by J Collins. The winner was J Surawski ocb from runner up R Cuneo also ocb from B Perrem with 69 net. The run down went to P Gerhardt & T Reid Pocock 70 net, C Shannon, N Stanfield, B May, A Gill & C Stephan 71 net, W Hill, D Gittins, G Hunt, A Hertweck, L Blunt, B Philp & L Saunders with 73 net followed by S Reid, J Browning, J Wilson, K Hammond, G Clark, M Herrington, E Meagher & D Baldwin 74 net and W Hall, S Bailey, D Stanfield, B Shaw, B Beasley, S Bennett & M Jackwitz with 75 net. Pin shots were received by A Parker & T Reid Pocock on 4/13, S Bennett & J Wilson received 7/16, T Bennett & J Pfingst received 8/17 and W Bentley & S McKenzie received 9/18. D Bass’s name was randomly selected to the Captains Pot. Don wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $40 this week. This Saturday will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. This will be the 2nd round of the Claret Jug Challenge.
Sunday: This week we have a Social Club, using all the buggies. Social play will be available on conclusion of play. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
