Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was R Freeman with 39 pts, runner up was G Parker with 38 pts. The run down went to D Stanfield & J Picton 36 pts, G Philp 35 pts followed by D Bass, G Clark & W Lovett 34 pts and M Gnech, B Sampson & A Shaw with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt, D Bass & W Maudsley while A Shaw & D Wall received by Ladies.
Womens:
The Women had 20 players play a single stableford competition kindly sponsored by S Edwards. This was an Invitational Day. The winner was J Browning ocb from runner up V Hume with 40 pts. The run down went to R Picton 39 pts, D Kuhnemann 38 pts and N Stanfield with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by R Picton & J Gurney on 4/13 while R Picton & E Van Haeften received 8/17. This week will be a single stableford competition kindly sponsored by R Picton. This is an 8am Shotgun.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by W Gnech playing a single stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was P Schwarz with 43 net, runner up was J More 46 net. The run down went to T Henderson 48 net and L Blunt, G Parker & M O’Reilly 49 net. Pin shots were received by G Searle on 13, J McGrath received 17 while S Fahey received 18. The best gross for the day was P Schwarz with 54 off the stick. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was P Willett. This week will be sponsored by R Scells for the John Allan Memorial playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played an American Foursomes Competition, kindly sponsored by A Bennett & Family. Thanks Alba for your continued support. Sunday: This week we have a Social Club, using all the buggies. Social play will be available on conclusion of play. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
