Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 39 players, play a single stableford competition, on Monday for the Public Holiday. There were 26 Veterans and 13 Social players. The winner was D Mortimer ocb from runner up D Wall with 37 pts. The run down went to G Philp, J Gurney, R Freeman, W Gnech & D Stanfield with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by N Zahnow, G Clark & J West while S Mckenzie with a hole in 1 (Congratulations) & S Grace received by Ladies.
Womens:
The Women had 13 players play a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by V Little. The winner was S Savery with 37 pts, runner up was N Stanfield ocb from T Reid Pocock with 36 pts. The run down continued with V Little 35 pts, D Kuhnemann 33 pts and S Reid with 30 pts. The Pin shots were received by D Kuhnemann on 4/13 while T Reid Pocock received 8/17. This week will be a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by S Savery. This is an Invitational Day.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by P Schwarz from Group 2 Acoustic Research, playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was R Burnett with 29 pts, runner up was P Willett ocb from G Parker & M O’Reilly with 28 pts. The run down continued with R Stinson 26 pts, S Fahey 25 pts and S Edwards & C Shannon with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by G Parker on 4, G Eviston received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was C Shannon. This week will be sponsored by G Parker & L Blunt playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, sponsored by D Mortimer. This was the next round of the Claret Jug Challenge. The winner & monthly medal winner was S Reid with 66 net, runner up & monthly medal winner was R Cuneo ocb from J Gurney with 67 net, followed by J West ocb from M Herrington with 68 net. The run down went to D Baldwin 69 net, M Oberle, S Bailey & W Martin 70 net, B May, E Bentley, D Tomlinson, B Freiberg, M Jackwitz, C Shannon, S Logan, B Philp & T Reid Pocock 71 net and S Savery, L Blunt & A Hertweck 72 net. Pin shots were received by B Freiberg & J Pfingst on 4/13, P King received 8/17 while A Gill received 9/18. K Sawtells’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Ken wasn’t at presentation, so it will jackpot to $40 this week. This Saturday will be The Parker Family Shield. This will be off the Red Tees, playing a stableford competition.
Sunday: This week we have a large Social Club, using all the buggies. Social play will be available after they have completed their round. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
