Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 18 players, play a single stableford competition at Warwick. The winner was D Bass with 37 pts, runner up was N Mulligan with 35 pts ocb. The run down went to R Picton 35 pts, J Browning & J Gurney 34 pts followed by M Gnech 33 pts and G Philp, M Gray & G Hunt with 31 pts. Pin shots were received by D Bass, J Browning & G Philp.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 23 players tee off, playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by S Savery. This was an Invitational Day. The winner was J Dover with 42 pts, runner up was T Reid Pocock with 39 pts ocb. The mens winner was R Burnett ocb from runner P Hutson with 36 pts. The run down went to N Stanfield with 39 pts. The Pin shots were received by L Edwards & R Stinson on 4/13 while T Reid Pocock & P Hutson received 8/17. This week will be sponsored by E Meagher playing a 2 player multiplyer competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by G Parker & L Blunt playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was T Bennett with 29 pts, runner up was G Eviston with 26 pts. The run down went to A Hertweck, L Vandenbrink, R Cuneo & M Wyvill 25 pts followed by J McGrath & C Gatehouse with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by P Schwartz on 13, C Gatehouse received 17 while S Synott received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was S Synott. Saturday:
Saturday we played the Parker Family Shield. This was a single stableford competition off the red tees. The overall winner was Ryley Tomlinson with 46 pts. The mens winner was J Gurney with 43 pts, runner up was G Eviston with 41 pts, followed by C Perrrem 40 pts & H Freiberg with 39 pts ocb. The womens winner was A Mazzei with 38 pts, runner up was V Little 37 pts followed by S Grace with 36 pts. The run down went to J Picton 39 pts, K Sawtell & P Dadds 38 pts, G Philp, J Miles & P Schwarz 37 pts, C Bell, P King, W Bentley & S Fahey 36 pts, followed by C Richardson, E Van Haeften, A Bennett, L Blunt, D Tomlinson, S Bennett, N Stanfield & A Gill 35 pts and B Lawrance, J Browning, S Lutter, C Stephan, B Perrem, A Parker, R Gordon, W Martin, C James, J West, D Wong, R Picton, E Bentley, J Pfingst, T Reid Pocock, J Surawski, M Morrison, S O’Connell & R Dewar with 34 pts. Ben was at presentation, so it will revert back to $20 this week. This Saturday is Anzac Day. We are playing a 9 hole par 3 competition, shot gun start at 2 pm.
Sunday:
This week we have a Social Club, using all the buggies. Social play will be available after they have completed their round. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
