Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 31 players, play a single stroke competition. The winner was D Bass with 70 net, runner up J Gurney ocb from W Hill with 72 net. The run down went to V Little & G Sharpe 73 net, D Mortimer 75 net and B May, T Roebig, M Gnech & G Philp with 77 net. Pins shots were received by D Bass, S Kopelke & G Hunt.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 22 players tee off, for a single stableford competition, for their next Invitational Day, sponsored by N Stanfield. The winner was V Little with 36 pts, runner up was S Edwards with 35pts. The run down went to W Hall, K Farnan & D Kuhnemann with 34 pts ocb. Pin shots were received by V Little on 4/13 while J Dover & W Hill received 8/17. This week will be sponsored by Rockalicous playing a single stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by C Farnan playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was S Fahey with 28 pts, runner up R Fitzgerald with 27 pts ocb. The run down went to J Strutt 27 pts, R Maudsley, W Jones, B Beasley & B Brown with 25 pts, followed by G Eviston, T Henderson & C Shannon with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by R Maudsley on 4, W Jones received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was W Gnech. Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by B & G Philp, D Wall & K Turner. The Womens winner was L Edwards ocb from K Turner with 40 pts, runner up was J Wilson with 39 pts followed by D Marshall with 37 pts. The mens winner was W Bentley ocb from runner up B Freiberg with 39 pts, followed by J Gurney ocb from T Roebig & G Parker with 38 pts. The run down went to P Duncan, P McNiven, S Reid, R Burnett, W Hill & M Wyvill with 36 pts, B Lawrance, W Gnech, C Lankowski, J Dover, G Clark, K Sawtell & C Gatehouse with 35 pts followed by B Dover, B Gotke, G Eviston, W Hall, D Spink, A Parker, L Blunt, D Forsyth, D Kuhenamann, G Philp, S Savery, J Grimsey & C Jorgensen with 34 pts. W Maudsleys’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Warren wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $100 next time.
