Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 27 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was R Burnett ocb from runner up G Clark with 37 pts. The run down went to G Hunt, D Forsyth, B May & R Lawrie 34 pts, followed by B Brown 33 pts and W Lovett, D Stanfield, W Hill, T Roebig & L Blunt with 32 pts. Pins shots were received by W Maudsley, G Philp & R Burnett.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 8 players tee off, for a joker stableford competition, sponsored by Rockalicous. The winner was D Kuhnemann with 45 pts, runner up was A Mazzei with 41 pts. The run down went to B Dover 38 pts & T Stinson with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by B Dover on 4/13 while D Kuhnemann received 8/17. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Scenic Rim Pest Management playing a single stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was D Tomlinson, runner up J Picton. The run down went to D Forsyth, J Strutt & S Edwards. Pin shots were received by C Gatehouse on 13 & R Burnett received 17. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was B Harding. This week will be sponsored by FIS Insurance playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by The Boonah Veterans Association. The Overall winner was C Whyte with 40 pts. The mens winner was J Browning with 38 pts, runner up was D Tomlinson with 37 pts, followed by R O’Connell with 36 pts ocb. The Womens winner was S McKenzie ocb from runner up B Dover with 35 pts. The run down went to M Harsant, P King, B Vowles, R Maudsley & C Farnan with 36 pts, M Sharpe, N Dean, T Bennett, C Shannon 35 pts, followed by P Willett, S Edwards, T Reid Pocock & L Edwards 34 pts, B Gotke, G Clark, G Martin W Hall, S Bennett, G Philp & W Lovett 33 pts and V Little, G Parker & L Blunt with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by L Edwards & L Blunt on 4/13, P King & V Little received 8/17 while T Bennett & S McKenzie received 9/18. M Herringtons’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Mark wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $120 next time. This week will be playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for the 1st round of the Darvall Cup. Sunday will be the 2nd round of the Darvall Cup.

We played the Mens & Ladies Foursomes Championships. The 2026 Champions are B Freiberg & D Bass 115 along with L Edwards & D Marshall 142. The runners up were S Bennett & M Wyvill 119 and S Reid & S McKenzie with 143. The net winners were T Roebig & B Sampson with 112.5, runners up were B Freiberg & D Bass with 113, the womens were L Edwards & D Marshall 108, runners up were V Bird & E Meagher with 112.2. Pin shots were received by S Bailey & J Pfingst on 4/13, D Wong & J Wilson on 8/17 and K Wilson & R Picton received 9/18. The rundown went to S Bennett & M Wyvill, J Miles & C Bell and G Hunt & G Clark 114, B Lawrance & B Perrem and B May & J Gurney 114.5, A Parker & G Maynard 115, E & W Bentley 115.5 and G Eviston & S Fahey with 116.
