Monday the Veterans travelled to Canungra while the Ipswich Veterans played in Boonah.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 9 players tee off, playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was D Kuhnemann with 73 net, runner up was L Edwards with 74 net. The run down went to S Grace 76 net, D Marshall 78 net, N Mulligan & A Mazzei with 79 net. Pin shots were received by L Edwards on 4/13 while D Marshall received 8/17. This week will be a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by The Clydesdale Spectactular.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by FIS Insurance playing a 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15, 2 ball Ambrose competition. The winners were S Fahey & G Eviston with 42 net, runners up were W Jones & W Wieland with 44.67. The run down went to R Maudsley & P Willett 45 net, R Cuneo & G Parker with 45.33 and B Sampson & T Roebig with 46 net. Pin shots were received by L Blunt on 4, S Fahey received 8 while A Bennett received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was R Burnett. The Achievements were S Fahey & G Eviston do a bogey free round and being and under par round. This week will be sponsored by B P Boonah playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition,
Saturday:
Saturday we played the 1st round of the Darvall Cup, playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. This was the next round of the Claret Jug Challenge sponsored by Platinium Edge Properties. The mens winner was C Maudsley with 68 net,, runner up was R Burnett ocb from T Bennett with 70 net also ocb. The Womens winner was E Meagher with 69 net, runner up T Reid Pocock with 70 net. The run down went to P McNiven 70 net, S Bennett, W Bentley, W Hill & D Stanfield 71 net, S Grace, A Parker & R Cuneo 72 net, followed by W Gnech & A Gill 73 net B Philp, R Higgs, S O’Connell, J Wilson, C Shannon, D Spink 74 net and E Bentley, S Seawood, D Forsyth, W Martin, K Sawtell, K McQuilty, B Freiberg, J Gurney, J West, C McKlaren & A Tomlinson with 75 net. Pin shots were received by W Bentley & J Pfingst on 4/13, A Gill & E Meagher received 8/17 while J Gurney received 9/18. N Masters name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Nina wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $140 next time. This week will be playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by Dover & Sons for the Dover Memorial.

We played the 2nd round of the Darvall Cup, this was another single stroke competition. The mens winner was B Sampson with 66 net, runner up was M Jackwitz ocb from B Freiberg with 70 net. The womens winner was D Marshall with 72 net, runner up was T Reid Pocock with 73 net. The run down went to S Grace, E Meagher, G Hunt & L Edwards 74 net, S Edwards, W Bentley & D Kuhnemann 75 net followed by H Perrem & D Bass 76 net and A Bennett, L Blunt, S Synott, K Wilson, D Wong, D & A Tomlinson with 77 net. Pin shots were received by D Wong & E Meagher on 4/13, H Perrem & D Kuhnemann received 8/17 while 9/18 was received by K Wilson & A Tomlinson. Congratulations go to W Bentley & E Meagher, the Darvall Cup winners for 2026.
