Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 31 players, travel to Gailes to play a single stableford competition. The winner was J Browning with 38 pts, runner up P Duncan with 36 pts. The run down went to M Gnech & N Halls 34 pts, followed by W Hill, D Forsyth & T Norris with 33 pts. J Browning had an Eagle on the 18th hole. Pin shots were received T Norris and J Browning.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 17 players tee off, playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by the Boonah Womens Sub Committee. This was their next Invitational Day. The winner was D Marshall with 37 pts, runner up was J Picton with 36 pts. The run down went to R Picton 35 pts and R Burnett with 34 pts ocb. The Pin shots were received by B Dover & R Burnett on 4/13 while D Marshall & R Burnett recieved 8/17. This week the women are playing a 2 ball ambrose competiton, kindly sponsored by J Baulch. This will be an 8am tee off.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by M Wyvill & P Eggenhuizen playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was G Parker with 26 pts, runner up was B Shaw ocb from M Wyviill with 25 pts. The run down continued with D Forsyth, W Gnech & J Lynch with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by P Willett on 4, R Maudsley received 8 while G Parker received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was B Harding. This week will be sponsored by The President playing an 18 hole competition. This will be a 12.15 tee off.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 2 person Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by FIS Insurance. The winners were S Bennett & L Saunders with 57 net, runners up were K Milligan & H Perrem with 57.25, followed by C Farnan & L Forsyth with 60.5 ocb. The run down went to J Browning & B May 60.5, B Lynch & M Ryan 61.75, G Philp & P Hutson 62 net, E & W Bentley 62.75, M Harsant & J Waters 63, D Gillis & D Bass and S McKenzie & S Reid 63.25, J McGrath & P King 63.5, followed by R Burnett & D Stanfield and R Lawrie & E Van Haeften 63.75, A & T Bennett 64 net, J Lynch & M Jackwitz and J Miles & A Parker 64.25 and D & C Wong with 64.5. Pin shots were received by B Shaw on 3/12, K Milligan received 4/13, J Waters received 5/14, D Mortimer received 7/16, B May received 8/17 while K Milligan received 9/18. P Duncans’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Peter wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $40 this week. This week will be The Maynard Memorial sponsored by the Family. All of our buggies have been booked out this week. Social play will be available if you have your own buggy or would like to walk. Buggies will be available after 12 pm. Ring the club to book your round and buggy if requiring one.
