Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 40 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was B May with 40 pts, runner up R Lawrie with 39 pts. The Ladies winner was D Wall with 38 pts, runner up was S Kopelke with 34 pts. The run down went to E Van Haeften 38 pts, D Forsyth & P Duncan 37 pts, J Yates, D Bass & B Brown 36 pts and G Sharpe & K Brown with 35 pts. Pin shots were received R Lawrie, G Sharpe & P Duncan while N Mulligan & S Kopelke received the ladies.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 12 players tee off, playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by Elite Meats. The winner was V Sampson ocb from runner up L Edwards with 37 pts. The run down went to R Picton 36 pts, D Kuhnemann 35 pts, and H Roebig & S Savery with 34 pts. The Pin shots were received by D Kuhnemann on 4/13 while R Picton recieved 8/17. This week will be a single stableford competition, sponsored by the Boonah Womens Sub Committee. This will be their next Invitational Day.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by T & H Roebig from Vanberry Cottage playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was G Parker ocb from runner up R Burnett with 29 pts. The run down went to M Dickson & N Hooke 28 pts, B Beasley & D Forsyth 25 pts followed by L Vandenbrink, A Hertweck & R Cuneo with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by C Farnan on 13, while B Beasley received 18. The Achievement of the day was B Beasley having an under par round. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was A Hertweck. This week will be sponsored by M Wyvill & P Eggenhuizen playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Fassifern Bushrangers Open Day playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Thanks for your support. The A Grade winner was B Freiberrg with 38 pts, runner up was B Lawrance with 37 pts followed by M Wyvill with 36 pts. B Grade winner was I Pocock with 39 pts, runner up was G Tipping ocb from R Lawrie with 37 pts. C Grade winner & monthly mug winner was P Willett with 44 pts, runner up was W Hill 40 pts followed by M Jackwitz with 38 pts. The womens winner & monthly mug winner was S Savery with 40 pts, runner up was S Reid with 38 pts. The Social Winner was D Wilson ocb from runner up D Bell with 73 net. The run down went to J Miles 38 pts, P Tate, T Roebig, R Lawrie, H Roebig & C Lankowski 37 pts, P Schwarz, C Gatehouse, C Stephan & D Wall 36 pts, M Oberle, R Burnett, C Bell, R Maudsley, J West, W Bentley, G Sippel & B Philp 35 pts, followed by J Gurney, J Surawski, E Bentley, B Victor, G Roberts, G Eviston, M Dickson, B Shaw, B May, K McQuilty, R Picton, Z Eviston & C Whyte 34 pts and D Bass, G Maynard, D Forsyth, G Roberts, W Gnech, J Pfingst & G Philp with 33 pts. Pennants:
Division 1 Pennants travelled to Laidley and played Gatton losing 6/3.
Division 2 Pennants travelled to Esk and played Laidley losing 4½ to 2½. P McNiven & J Surawski both had wins, P Schwarz squared his match while B Lawrance, S Bailey and B & H Perrem all had losses.
Sunday 20th September:
We have the Peak Crossing State School doing a fundraising Golf Day. Social play will be available on competition of their game around 1.30. Ring the club to book your round and buggy if requiring one.
