Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 36 players play a 4BBB stableford competition. The winners were D Wiegand & T Norris ocb from runners up R Lawrie & E Van Haeften also ocb from D Forsyth & G Philp with 44 pts. The run down continued with W Hill & B Philp 43 net, D Wall & P Duncan and J Picton & G Hunt 42 pts and R Stinson & A Mazzei with 41 pts. Pin shots were received B Philp, G Hunt & R Browers.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 5 players tee off, playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was N Stanfield ocb from runner up T Reid Pocock & S Savery with 76 net. The run down continued with D Marshall 81 net and L Edwards 82 net. The Pin shot on 8/17 was received by S Savery. This week will be a single stableford competition kindly sponsored by Elite Meats. Next week will be the Invitational Day.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Boonah Business Supplies playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was P Willett with 45 net, runner up N Hooke ocb from B Beasley, R Maudsley, G Parker & T Henderson with 46 net. The run down continued with J McGrath 47 net and G Hunt & B Shaw with 49 net. Pin Shots were received by G Parker on 4, G Searle received 8 while B Beasley received 9. The Achievement of the day was B Beasley having 47 off the stick, this was under a par round. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was J McGrath. Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stoke/monthly medal competition, kindly sponsored by Brazzen Rural Scenic Rim. Thanks for your support. The winner and monthly medal winner was S Lutter ocb from runner up G Parker with 67 net, followed by S Reid the womens monthly medal winner ocb from L Gordon, I Pocock & D Wall with 68 net and M Dickson 69 net ocb.
