Monday the Veterans had 31 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was K Turner with 40 pts, runner up was D Wall with 39 pts ocb from R Lawrie. The run down continued with R Picton 38 pts, B Philp 37 pts, followed by J Picton, G Philp, M Gnech & D Mortimer 36 pts and W Hall & G Parker with 35 pts. Pin shots were received B Philp, P Duncan, D Mortimer & G Parker.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 10 players tee off, playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by J Dover. The winner was D Kuhnemann with 41 pts, runner up H Roebig 37 pts. The run down went to L Reinholdsson 35 pts, B Dover 34 pts, V Little 33 pts & D Marshall with 32 pts ocb. Pin shots were received by V Little on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by D Kuhnemann. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played the Hal Gwynne Memorial, kindly sponsored by the Eviston Brothers, playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was A Hertweck ocb from runner up R Freeman & C Jorgensen with 31 pts. The run down continued with S Fahey & B Lynch 29 pts, J More, W Hall & B Davey 28 pts, followed by M Weber, B Brown & G Eviston 27 pts and J Shaw, B Beasley & M Wyvill with 26 pts. Pin Shots were received by W Wieland on 4/13, R Cuneo received 8/17 while S Fahey received 9/18. The Achievement of the day was B Lynch having an Eagle on the 3rd hole.
