Monday the Veterans played the 2nd round of their 4BBB stableford championship.  No results were handed in.

Wednesday Sporters

Last week the sporters played for Wally Woolgars Trophy sponsored by David Woolgar playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.  The winner was S. Edwards on a count back from runner up M. O’Reilly with 29 pts. The run down went to A. Stick 26 pts, G. Sorenson & W. Wieland 25 pts followed by R. Cuneo & G. Searle with 24 pts.  Nearest the pins were received by G. Ball on 13, B. Davey received 17, while 18 was received by R. Cuneo.  Wednesday will be sponsored by Glen Sippel, playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.  Next week will be sponsored by Don Webster playing a Stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6

Friendly Fridays

We had 9 players on Friday with the winner being G. Henderson with 22 pts, runner up was M. McGarrity with 19 pts, followed by M. Crowther & C. Greet 18 pts & M. Leary with 17 pts.   Tee off time is now 2.30.  Come along and enjoy a round of friendly 9 holes.


Saturday we played a 4BBB sponsored by B. Freiberg, W. Jackson & A. Bennett. The winners with 49 pts were S. Edwards & S. Hughes, runners up were M. O’Reilly & D. Forsyth with 38 pts, the next best were A. & B. Brown with 47 pts. The rundown went to G. & Z. Eviston 46 pts, G. Sippel & P. Manitta, K. Turner & D. Wall & J. Browning & B. Hutchinson all with 44 pts, followed by B. May & G. Philp, W. Hall & G. Parker and D. Yeates & C. Shannon 43 pts and T. Lynch & A. Featherstone 42 pts.   Pin shots were received by M. Dickson on 4/13, A. Brown received the ladies, 8/17 was received by A. Bennett & 9/18 was received by B. Freiberg.  The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by A. Bennett with 89 cm.  Saturday will be sponsored by B. Philp,  G. Philp, C.  Philp & K. Francis playing a 2 Ball Ambrose.  Next week will be sponsored by G. & W. Lutter playing a Stroke/Monthly Medal.  Timesheets are out now.


This week we have a Social Club of 20 players teeing off at 7.30 am, you can follow them around if you would like to.
