Monday the Veterans played a Stableford competition. The winner was D. Forsyth with 41 pts, runner up: T. Lynch 39 pts. The rundown went to J. Arthur 38, D. Yeates & A. Featherstone on 37, followed by K. Playfair 35, P. Cooper 34 & C. Greet also 34pts.
Nearest the Pins were received by T. Lynch 4/13 & 8/17, and the Ladies 8/17 J. Edwards.
The encouragement award was received by R. Featherstone, while the members draw was won by G. Sippel. The Championship winner was A. Featherstone with 120pts and runner up: K. Chivers on 118pts.
Last Wednesday was Pubs day for the sporters, they played a Stableford event 1-9 + 10,14 & 15.
The winner was G. Sorenson with 31pts, runner up was A. Gill and G. Eviston on 29pts. Winning pub team was Simons Hotel on 149pts, runner up was Peak Crossing Hotel with 133pts, followed by Mt Alford Hotel on 132pts, Commercial Hotel on 130pts and Rathdowney Hotel on 116pts.

Saturday is a single Stroke, Mens & ladies Competition, sponsored by P. Ledlie, G. Ball & M. Christensen. The next Saturday is sponsored by Bendigo Bank playing a single stoke/monthly medal, with over $1500 in prizes to be won including a lucky door prize & pin shots on every hole, there will be a sausage sizzle and a drinks cart, will be a great day.
There will be a social club on Sunday, so chookies can tee off before 6.45am.
