Veterans:
Monday the Veterans didn’t get to play as the course was too wet for buggies.
Womens:
Wednesday the women played a single stroke/monthly medal play off competition, for a club trophy. The winner was S Savery ocb from runner up L Reinholdsson with 77 net. The run down went to V Little 78 net, J Wilson 79 net, followed by B Dover 82 net and T Stinson with 83 net. Both pin shots were received by S Savery. This week the women will be playing a single stableford/monthly mug playoff, kindly sponsored by L Reinholdsson.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was J McGrath with 27 pts, runner up was B Shaw with 25 pts ocb. The run down went to G Hunt 25 pts and D Forsyth with 24 pts. This week will be the 1st round of the Sporters Championships kindly sponsored by Dover & Sons. Club Members who completed in 5 individual rounds of Sporters in the 2026 season will be eligible for this Honour Board Event.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, kindly sponsored by Platinum Edge Properties. This was the final round of the Claret Jug Challenge. The Claret Jug winner was I Pocock, runner up was R Burnett, followed by S Reid, S Bennett, T Reid Pocock, M Herrington & J West. The daily winner was P King with 69 net, runner up was R Higgs ocb with 70 net. The Mens Monthly Medal winner was I Pocock with 68 net, while the Womens medal winner was J Wilson with 71 net. The run down went to J Wilson 71 net, M Sharpe, J McGrath, R Burnett, B Philp, S Reid & W Martin with 72 net, followed by S Bennett, J Gurney, P Gerhardt, V Little & S Bailey with 73 net and M Oberle, B Shaw, G Hunt, W Maudsley, D Mortimer, M O’Reilly & D Wong with 74 net. Pin shots were received by G Hunt on 2/11, J Miles & S Reid received 4/13, W Bentley & J Pfingst received 8/17 while W Maudsley received 9/18. R Lawries’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Rob wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $40 this week. This week will be the Keith & Sheila Bartholomew Memorial kindly sponsored by the Bartholomew Family, playing a single stableford competition.
Sunday: 15th November:
Sunday we have a small Social Club using some of our buggies. Social play will be available though we ask you to ring and book your game and buggy if you require one to avoid disappointment.
Pennants:
Last week Division 2 played Toogoolawah at Laidley. They lost 4/3 unfortunately. The players were P McNiven, B Lawrance, W Martin, J Surawski, L Saunders, B Perrem & M Morrison.
