Monday the Veterans had 29 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was L Blunt ocb from runner up T Smith & W Lovett with 34 pts. The run down continued with D Wall, D Forsyth & B May 33 pts, followed by J Gurney & R Lawrie 32 pts. Pin shots were received by D Bass, W Maudsley & B May while D Wall & N Mulligan received by Ladies.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 29 players, play a single stableford competition, sponsored by V Sampson. This was an Invitational day to our male members wishing to play an 18 hole competition. The winner was L Reinholdsson with 43 pts, runner up was H Roebig with 39 pts. The run down went to S Savery 38 pts, R Lawrie 36 pts, T Reid Pocock 35 pts followed by D Stanfield, M Gnech & W Lovett with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by S Reid & R Lawrie on 4/13 while S Grace & M Gnech received 8/17. This week will be sponsored by J Edwards playing a single stableford competition. Next week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by R Freeman & R Burnett playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was W Wieland with 27 pts, runner up was G Eviston ocb from P Willett with 25 pts. The run down continued with A Hertweck & C Gatehouse with 24 pts. Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford competition for a club trophy. The Overall Winner was R Lawrie ocb from the mens winner C Jorgensen & runner up S Francis with 40 pts. The Ladies winner was Z Eviston with 39 pts, runner up was S McKenzie with 37 pts. The run down went to D Baldwin 37 pts, B Shaw 36 pts and D Forsyth, W Gnech, P Eggenhuizen & J O’Keefe with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by R Lawrie & S Savery on 4/13, W Maudsley received 8/17 while B Freiberg & J Wilson received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by M O’Reilly, D Forsyth & W Hill playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. This will be the next round of the Claret Jug Challenge.
