Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players play a single stroke competition, for the 1st round of their Championships. The winner was A Mazzei with 68 net, runner up was J Gurney with 69 net. The run down went to C Petroholis 71 net, D Forsyth 73 net followed by G Sharpe, G Parker, D Bass, G Philp & L Blunt with 74 net. Pin shots were received J Gurney, D Bass & M Wyvill. Next week the Veterans will be playing on Tuesday 11th August.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 10 players tee off, playing a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by The Little Pee Dee Nursery. The winner was L Edwards with 40 pts, runner up was H Roebig ocb from N Stanfield with 36 pts. The run down continued with D Kuhnemann 34 pts, B Dover 33 pts and S Savery with 32 pts. Both Pin shots on 4/13 & 8/17 was received by B Dover. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by G Searle & R Stinson playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was W Hall with 28 pts, runner up B Sampson ocb from S Farnan with 27 pts. The run down continued with R Cuneo, G Searle, C Shannon, B Beasley & W Lovett with 26 pts, followed by S Edwards & W Wieland 25 pts and D Forsyth & B Brown with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by R Maudsley on 4, G Eviston received 8 while D Stanfield received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was D Stanfield. The Achievement of the day was B Beasley with an Eagle on the 15th hole. This week will be The Wally Woolgar Trophy sponsored by his family.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, kindly sponsored by D Forsyth, M O’Reilly & W Hill. This was the next round of the Claret Jug Challenge sponsored by Platinum Edge Properties. The men winner & monthly medal winner was R Freeman with 68 net, runner up was D Wong with 69 net, followed by W Martin 70 net and J West with 71 net ocb. The womens winner & monthly medal winner was K Farnan with 58 net, runner up was S Savery with 68 net. The run down went to T Reid Pocock 69 net, M Dickson 71 net, G Eviston, G Clark, V Little, A Bennett, D Kuhnemann B Davey, C Whyte & D Spink 72 net followed by P Schwarz, W Maudsley, S Fahey & W Lovett 73 net and E Bentley, B Gotke, M Oberle, E Meagher, G Philp, R Higgs & S Lutter with 74 net. Pin shots were received by D Mortimer & S McKenzie on 4/13, C Whyte & A Tomlinson received 8/17 while S Fahey received 9/18. Z Evistons’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Zuzana was at presentation so it will revert back to $20 next time. This week will be a single stableford/monthly mug competition, sponsored by G J Walsh.

We have a social club using all the buggies. Social play with people wanting buggies will be available after completion of their games.
