Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 39 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was R Stinson with 41 pts, runner up was R Burnett with 37 pts. The run down went to P Hutson, B May & L Blunt with 36 pts, followed by D Mortimer, G Philp & K McQuilty 35 pts and W Gnech & W Hill with 34 pts. Pin shots were received W Maudsley, K Fitzpatrick & S Kopelke.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 8 players tee off, playing a single stableford front 9 and a single stroke back 9 competition, kindly sponsored by T Reid Pocock. The winner of both events was won by J Dover. The run down went to T Stinson, R Picton, N Stanfield & V Little. Pin shots were received by L Reinholdsson on 4/13 while D Kuhnemann received 8/17. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by B Sampson & W Hall playing a 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 stableford competition. The winner was J Picton with 29 pts, runner up was W Wieland with 28 pts. The run down went M O’Reilly 27 pts, R Stinson & R Burnett 26 pts, followed by J McGrath & J Strutt 25 pts and T Henderson & W Lovett with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by M Dickson on 4, while B Beasley received both 8 & 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was won by W Jones. This week will be sponsored by M Crowther playing a single stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. This will also be a putting competition for the least amount of putts.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for the K & L Forsyth Memorial sponsored by their family. Thanks to Dick & Family for your continued support. The winner was R Burnett with 66 net, runner up was B Lawrance with 67 net, followed by S Synnott ocb from S Bennett with 68 net. The Womens winner was J Pfingst with 67 net, runner up was L Edwards with 68 net followed by D Kuhnemann with 70 net. The run down went to W Hill 69 net, C Wilson, M Dickson & T Bennett 70 net, J Surawski, A Hertweck, E Meagher & D Mortimer 71 net, W Gnech, B Vowles, A Bennett, J Gurney, G Williams, R Lawrie, R Freeman, S Bailey, G Philp & B Perrem 72 net, followed by C Lankowski, D Bass, C Stephan & K McQuilty 73 net, M O’Reilly, J Waters, J Grimsey, D Wall, J Lynch, M Gnech, S Grace, M Herrington & Z Eviston 74 net and K Turner, J Tronc, B Lynch & D Forsyth with 75 net. Pin shots were received by B Lynch & J Pfingst on 4/13, G Williams & J Wilson received 8/17 while B Vowels received 9/18. B Lynchs’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Brad was at presentation so it will revert back to $20 this week. This week will be sponsored by Mr Wong Hydraulics playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.
Sunday: 11th October:
This week we have a large Social Club using all of our buggies. Buggies will be available after completion of their game. Ring the club to book your round and buggy if requiring one.
Pennants:
Both Divisions played pennants today with both having losses.
Division 1 lost 5.5 – 3.5 with B Freiberg, C Perrem & E Bentley winning, D Bass squaring his match and B Lawrance, K Wilson, A Gill, S Fahey & K Milligan all having losses.
Division 2 lost 4-3 with P McNiven, A Moore & J Miles winning while S Bennett, W Martin, J Surawski & C Jorgensen losing their matches
