Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was W Lovett ocb from runner up M Gray & W Maudsley with 36 pts. The ball run down continued with C Petrohilos 35 pts, G Sharpe & T Norris 34 pts, followed by G Hunt, D Bass & J Trovatello 33 pts and W Hall with 32 pts. Pin Shots were received by D Gittins, G Hunt & K Brown.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 13 players, play a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was S Savery with 65 net, runner up was S Grace with 69 net. The run down went to K Foote71 net & D Marshall 73 net. Pin shots were received by D Kuhnemann on 4/13 while D Marshall received 8/17. This week will be sponsored by Dugandan Hotel playing a single stableford competition. This will be the next round of the Consistency Cup. Next week will be a 2 ball Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by J Baulch.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played the Wally Woolgar Memorial sponsored by his family, playing a single stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was M O’Reilly with 44 net, runner up was J Lynch with 45 net. The run went to M Wyvill with 46 net. Pin shots were received by M Gray on 13, J Lynch received 17 while B Beasley received 18. This week will be the Glenn Sippel Memorial sponsored by his QFS Mates, D Forsyth & B Brown playing single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Asahi Lifestyle Beverages playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. The mens winner was M Herrington ocb from runner up G Eviston also ocb with 39 pts. The Ladies winner was J Wilson with 37 pts, runner up was S Reid with 35 pts ocb. The run down went to T Bennett 39 pts, D Forsyth, W Martin, S Bennett & C Stephan 38 pts, followed by J Trovatello, B Shaw & W Maudsley 37 pts, B Lawrance, M Wyvill, D Baldwin, B Beasley & S Edwards 36 pts and A Hertweck, A Bennett, L Edwards, B & H Perrem with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by E Bentley & H Roebig on 4/13, S Bennett & J Wilson received 8/17 while G Clark & S Reid received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by FIS Insurance.
