Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 43 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was B Scholes with 49 pts, runner up B May ocb from R Burnett with 38 pts. The run down continued with G Rowan, C Siellaff, J Gurney, K Brown & C Petrohilos 37 pts, followed by D Gittins & L Blunt 36 pts and J Picton, W Hill, J Hoare, W Maudsley & S Kopelke with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by T Henderson, J Gurney & R Lawrie while S Kopelke received the ladies.
Womens:
The Women had 11 players play a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by K Cook. The winner was B Dover with 38 pts, runner up was S Savery with 37 pts. The run down went to D Marshall 36 pts, R Picton & L Edwards 32 pts and T Reid Pocock with 31 pts. The pin shot on 4/13 was received by S Savery while 8/17 was received by R Picton. This week will be an Invitational Day kindly sponsored by T Stinson playing a single stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was C Gatehouse with 37 net, runner up was R Cuneo with 42 net. The run down went to W Lovett 46 net, B Lynch & B Davey 47 net followed by R Freeman, R Burnett & T Roebig 48 net and J Picton 49 net. Pin shots were received by R Burnett on 4, K Brown received 8, while C Gatehouse received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was D Stanfield. This week will be sponsored by N Hooke playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by Boonah Real Estate. The mens winner was K Hammond with 38 pts, runner up was B Lynch ocb from B Gotke with 37 pts followed by S Lutter with 36 pts ocb. The Womens winner was S Grace with 34 pts, runner up was S Savery with 33 pts. The run down went to J Surawski, T Bennett & M Wyvill with 36 pts, W Gnech, S Edwards, W Bentley, B Lawrance & M Oberle 35 pts, followed by J West, M Gnech, M Herrington, G Hunt, C Whyte & D Forsyth 34 pts and C Stephan, R Burnett, E Bentley, S O’Connell, R Dewar & R Lawrie with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by M Morrison & Z Eviston on 4/13, M Herrington & Z Eviston received 8/17 and S Lutter & S Savery recieved 9/18. J Sandersons’ name was randomly selected to the Captains Pot. Jim wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot this week. This Saturday will be a 2 Ball Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by Bendigo Bank.
Sunday: This week we have a Social Club, using all the buggies. Social play will be available on conclusion of play. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
