Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was B Philp with 38 pts, runner up was P Ross ocb from L Edwards, V Hume & D Beazley with 36 pts. The rundown continued with D Forsyth, J Gurney & R Holland 33 pts, followed by W Maudsley & W Lovett 32 pts and A Hertweck & W Hall with 31 pts. Pin shots were received by G Philp, P Peck & J Gurney while L Edwards & V Hume received by ladies. The members draw jackpotted.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 12 players play a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by The Commercial Hotel. The winner was B Dover with 36 pts, runner up was N Stanfield with 35 pts. The run down went to S Savery & V Sampson with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by N Stanfield on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by B Dover. This week will be a Bing, Bang Bong competition, sponsored by N Stanfield.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by S Fahey playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was R Stinson with 27 pts, runner up was G Eviston with 26 pts. The rundown went to G Searle 25 pts and T Roebig & P Eggenhuizen with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by B Sampson on 13, B May received 17 while B Beasley received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was P Willett. This week will be sponsored by D Rhodes from Scenic Rim Pest Management. Next week will be sponsored by C Farnan playing a single stableford competition.
The Clydesdale Cup:
The Clydesdale Cup was played on Thursday with 42 competitors. The winner was I Pocock with 40 pts, runner up was D Harding with 39 pts. The team stableford was won by J Browning, D Hume & D Harding with 33.6. Pin shots were received by D Harding & J Pfingst on 4/13, 8/17 & 9/18 were received by D Hume & E Meagher. The Accurate Drives were received by R Freeman & L Edwards.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by T Richardson from Mitre 10 Boonah. The mens winner was B Lawrance ocb from runner up T Bennett with 38 pts, followed by G Clark & A Gill (including an Eagle on the 6th) with 37 pts ocb. The Ladies winner was J Wilson with 34 pts, runner up was T Reid Pocock with 33 pts. The run down went to G Maynard 36 pts, J Gurney 35 pts, S Brown, D Bass, W Bentley, B Freiberg & A Parker with 34 pts, followed by M Jackwitz, P King, C Whyte & G Yeomans with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by S Fahey & V Hume on 4/13, S Fahey received 8/17 while A Parker & S McKenzie received 9/18.
