Monday the Veterans had 34 players play a single stroke competition. The winner was C Petroholis with 69 net, runner up was J Browning with 70 net. The rundown went to J More, E Van Haeften, W Hill & B Harding 73 net, B Philp 74 net, followed by G Hunt, J Gurney & D Bass 65 net and R Freeman, D Wall & D Beazley with 76 net. Pin shots were received by D Beazley, J Gurney, E Van Haeften and J Browning while K Turner & D Wall received by ladies.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 13 players, play a Bing, Bang Bong competition, sponsored by N Stanfield. The winner was H Roebig with a score of 21, runner up was D Marshall with a score of 20. The run down went to N Stanfield with a score of 22, T Reid Pocock 18, J Edwards & V Sampson 17. Pin shots were received by S Reid on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by B Dover. Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by D Rhodes from Scenic Rim Pest Management, playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was N Hooke ocb from runner up C Farnan with 26 pts also ocb. The rundown went to R Scells 26 pts followed by D Forsyth, R Maudsley, S Fahey, D Stanfield & R Cuneo with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by D Stanfield on 4 & 8 while B Beasley received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was P Willett. Saturday we played a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by G & B Philp along with K Turner & D Wall. The mens winner was M Hohl with 41 pts, runner up C Stephan with 39 pts, followed by G Parker & C Perrem with 35 pts ocb. The Ladies winner was S Grace with 38 pts, runner up was V Bird with 37 pts. The run down went to L Blunt, D Bass, D Baldwin & C Farnan with 35 pts, I Pocock, J Trovatello, D Wall, G Philp & A Parker 34 pts, followed by B Dover, M Dickson, W Maudsley & C Wilson 33 pts and G Eviston, P McNiven, G Clark, S Reid, W Bentley & A Hertweck with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by W Martin & S Grace on 4/13, G Parker & S McKenzie received 8/17 while G Clark & A Tomlinson received 9/18. This week will be the All Saints Open Day playing a 2 person Ambrose. Sunday we will be playing the Mens & Ladies Foursomes. Next week-end will be the Darvall Cup.
