Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 32 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was W Hill with 39 pts, runner up was B Philp ocb from G Hunt with 37 pts. The run down continued with D Forsyth 36 pts, T Henderson, A Shaw & K Brown 35 pts, D Stanfield 34 pts and B Sampson & J Browning 33 pts. Pin shots were received by B Philp, W Hill, G Hunt & K Brown while A Shaw received the ladies.
Womens:
Wednesday the women had 8 players play a single stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy. The winner was T Reid Pocock with 71 net, runner up was B Dover with 74 net. The run down went to N Stanfield 79 net and H Roebig, D Marshall & S Grace with 80 net. This week will be sponsored by N Mulligan playing a single stableford competition.
Sporters:
The Sporters played a 2 ball Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by Miles Ahead Plumbing. The winners were B Shaw & S Lee with 42 net, runners up were A Hertweck & R Cunoe with 44.33. The run down went to S Fahey & G Eviston and J & R Worley with 44.67, R Scells & L Blunt 45.33 and W Hall & D Beazley, B Beasley & G Parker 46 net and T Roebig & B Sampson with 48 net. Pin Shots were received by B Shaw on 13 & 17 while S Fahey received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was G Parker. Next week will be sponsored by Matis Accounting playing a Par Format. This will be an 18 hole competition teeing off at 12.15 pm.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, kindly sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power. The winner and monthly medal winner was A Parker with 68 net, runner up was J Grimsey ocb from J Picton & R O’Connell with 69 net. The womens medal winner was T Reid Pocock with 71 net. The run down went to I Pocock, D Spink, J Sanderson & G Grimsey 70 net, T Reid Pocock, M Herrington, B Gotke, B Lynch, W Martin, G Eviston, C Wilson, M Hohl & B Williams 71 net and P King, E VanHaeften, A Shaw, S Bailey, H Devine, M Sharpe & B Lawrance with 72 net. Pinshots were received by D Spink & V Hume on 4/13, P Hutson & A Shaw received 8/17 while W Bentley received 8/17. D Wongs name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot, Darren wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot next week. Next week will be a single stableford/monthly mug competition kindly sponsored by The Butcher Co.
