Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 29 players, play a single stroke competition. The winner was A Mazzei with 65 net, runner up was M Gnech ocb from J Picton with 68 net. The run down continued with G Hunt 69 net, J Gurney & B May 73 net followed by T Henderson & R Lawrie 74 net and D Bass, D Stanfield & D Forsyth with 75 net. Pin shots were received by J Picton, B May, R Lawrie & P Hutson while D Wall & A Mazzei received the Ladies.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 12 players tee off, playing a 2 player multiplyer competition, kindly sponsored by E Meagher. The winners were N Stanfield & L Reinholdsson with 68 pts, runners up were L Edwards & D Marshall with 53 pts. The run down went to J Dover, H Roebig, V Bird & S Grace. The Pin shots were received by N Stanfield on 4/13 & 8/17. This week will be sponsored by B Dover playing an American Foursomes competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was D Stanfield with 30 pts, runner up was T Henderson with 29 pts. The run down went to M O’Reilly 28 pts, R Stinson & R Freeman 27 pts, P Willett & G Parker 26 pts, followed by J Picton 25 pts and S Fahey, J Strutt, R Maudsley & S Edwards with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by T Henderson on 4, B Lawrance received 8 while S Fahey received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was M Gray. This week will be sponsored by C Shannon & M Dickson playing a single stableford 10 -18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 9 hole par 3 competition, with a shot gun start at 2 pm. The winner was B Brown, runner up was D Stanfield followed by R Picton. The best gross for the day was K Wilson. Pin shots were received by A Parker on 1, W Gnech received 3, A Gill received 4, while K Wilson received 7, 8 & 9. T Bennetts name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Tom was at presentation, so it will stay at $20 this week. This week will be sponsored by Tony Holland Funerals playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be the start of the Championships.
Sunday: This week we have a small Social Club, using some of the buggies. Social play will be available. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
