Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 27 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was A Mazzei with 34 pts, runner up was J Gurney ocb from W Maudsley with 33 pts. The run down continued with S Buchholz, W Lovett, & L Blunt 32 pts followed by R Stinson, S Dennis & J Picton with 31 pts. Pin shots were received by J Gurney & J Browning.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 12 players tee off, playing an American Foursome competition, kindly sponsored by B Dover. The winners for the gross were D Kuhnemann & E Meagher with 102 while L Reinholdsson & V Little received by net of 80.88. The run down went to H Roebig & S Grace. S Grace & H Roebig received both pin shots on 4/13 & 8/17. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by C Shannon & M Dickson playing a single stableford 10 -18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was L Blunt with 27 pts, runner up was S Edwards with 26 pts. The run down went to R Cuneo 25 pts and J McGrath & C Jorgensen with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by R Cuneo on 13, P Schwarz received 17 while C Jorgensen received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was J Strutt. This week will be sponsored by Boonah Automatics playing a 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 single stroke competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford/monthly mug competition. The winner and mens monthly mug winner was K Milligan with 39 pts, runner up was S O‘Connell ocb from L Edwards the womens monthly mug winner, J Dover & J Lynch with 38 pts, followed by S Edwards ocb from S Fahey with 37 pts ocb. The run down went to E Bentley with an Eagle on the 6th hole and M Jackwitz with 37 pts, D Forsyth, C Shannon & J McGrath 36 pts, B May & C Perrem 35 pts followed by A Parker, B Freiberg, B Philp, R O’Connell, K McQuilty, D McKenzie, E Meagher, P McNiven & B Dover 34 pts and G Eviston, R Higgs, S Grace, R Freeman, R Lawrie, J Surawski, M Wyvill, Z Eviston, E Van Haefen, D Baldwin, V Sampson, S Francis & D Tomlinson with 33 pts. A Tomlinsons’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Anna was at presentation, so it will stay at $20 this week. This week will be the start of the Championships. If playing in the Championships all 4 comp fees are to be paid up front.
Sunday: No Social Club this week. Social play will be available all day. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
