Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 31 players, play a single stableford competition. The mens winner was B May with 37 pts, runner up was D Bass with 36 pts. The run down went to R Stinson, J Gurney& T Roebig with 35 pts, followed by G Hunt & D Gittins with 32 pts. The ladies winner was A Mazzei with 38 pts, runner up was L Kelly with 36 pt ocb from S Kopelke followed by H Roebig with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by B May, J Gurney & J Browning while S Kopelke & L Kelly received the ladies.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 11 players tee off, playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was V Little with 73 net, runner up was D Marshall with 74 net. The run down went to J Dover 77 net, S Grace & L Edwards 78 net followed by D Kuhnemann 79 net ocb. Pin shots were received by S Grace on 4/13 while V Little received 8/17. This week will be sponsored by J Edwards playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by Boonah Automatics playing a 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 single stroke competition. The winner was G Eviston with 46 net, runner up was R Scells with 47 net ocb. The run down went to B Davey 47 net, followed by T Roebig, R Maudsley, S Fahey & J Strutt with 49 net. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on both 8 & 9. S Fahey had the best gross for the day with 50 off the stick. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was G Eviston. This week will be sponsored by B Beasley & B Lawrance playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke competition for the 1st round of our Championships, sponsored by the Captains. The winner and mens monthly medal winner was M Herrington with 70 net, runner up was M Weber ocb from T Bennett with 71 net also ocb. The run down went to G Parker, G Hunt, B Lynch, L Saunders & P McNiven 71 net, G Saunders, D Gittins, G Eviston and M Wyvill 72 net, B Beasley, C Jorgensen & J Browning 73 net, followed by D Bass, S Bennett, S Fahey, B Freiberg, J Surawski, W Lovett, S Edwards & B Calabrese 74 net and D Wong, D Spink, K Milligan, R Cuneo, A Parker, G Philp, G Yeomans, A Heit and S Francis with 75 net. The womens winner and monthly medal was S McKenzie with 71 net, runner up was L Edwards with 72 net. The run down went to V Little E Meagher & J Wilson 73 net, followed by D Marshall with 75 net. S Franciss’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Sinon wasn’t at presentation, so it will jackpot to $40 this week. This week-end will be the 2nd & 3rd round of the Championships.
