Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 35 players play a single stroke competition, for the last round of their Championships. The winner was S Edwards ocb from runner up J Gurney with 71 net. The run down went to A Hertweck, W Maudsley & P Duncan with 73 net followed by T Henderson, L Blunt, M Wyvill, W Lovett, W Gnech, G Philp & R Freeman with 74 net. Pin shots were received A Hertweck, T Henderson & L Blunt. The Veterans Champion for 2026 is J Gurney, runner up is A Mazzei.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 9 players tee off, playing a single stroke/monlthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was S Savery with 71 net, runner up was L Reinholdsson with 72 net. The run down went to L Edwards 73 net, H Roebig 75 net, J Dover & D Marshall with 78 net. Pin shots were received by L Edwards on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by D Marshall. This week will be a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by The Moogerah Café.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played The Wally Woolgar Trophy sponsored by his family, playing a single stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was J Strutt ocb from runner up W Gnech also ocb from R Cuneo & S Edwards with 45 net. The run down continued with P Willett, A Czerner & C Farnan 46 net, M Dickson, J McGrath A Hertweck 47 net followed by J More & R Freeman 48 net and W Lovett, B Lawrance, R Stinson & D Forsyth 49 net. Pin Shots were received by W Gnech on 13, C Gatehouse received 17 while R Cuneo received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was A Czerner. B Lawrance had the best gross for the day with 52 off the stick.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by G J Walsh. Thanks for your continued support. The men winner & monthly mug winner was M Harsant with 46 pts, runner up was C Maudsley with 44 pts, followed by J West with 42 pts. The womens winner & monthly mug winner was S Reid ocb from runner up K Turner with 39 pts. The run down went to C McKlaren 41 pts, R Lawrie, M Morrison, T Roebig & B Harsant 38 pts, P McNiven, P Duncan, D Gillis, J Browning, K McQuilty, B Calabrese, T Reid Pocock, J Pfingst, D Kuhnemann & B May 37 pts, S Seaward, P Schwarz, A Bennett, R Freeman, J Gurney & K Farnan 36 pts and S Lutter, A Parker, C Shannon, H Roebig, D Bass, B Philp, D Wall & G Philp with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by B Freiberg & D Kuhnemann on 4/13, M Harsant & A Tomlinson received 8/17 while D Bass with an Eagle & J Wilson received 9/18. M O’Reillys’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Murray wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $40 next time. This week will be an American Foursomes competition kindly sponsored by H2O.
Sunday 16th August:
We have a social club using all the buggies. Social play with people wanting buggies will be available after completion of their games.
The Mens B Grade Pennants will also be starting.
