Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 27 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was W Lovett with 40 pts, runner up was R Brouwers with 39 pts. The run down went to E Van Daalen 38 pts, G Hunt 37 pts followed by B Shaw 36 pts, J Gurney & B May 35 pts and D Wall & A Shaw with 34 pts. Pin shots were received T Henderson, R Brouwers, W Maudsley & D Wall.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 11 players tee off, playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition, kindly sponsored by The Moogerah Café. The winner was V Little ocb from runner up S Savery with 41 pts. The run down went to D Marshall & A Shaw with 38 pts. Pin shots were received by S Savery on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by T Reid Pocock. This week will be a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by L Edwards. This will be the next Invitational Day.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played the Glenn Sippel Memorial kindly sponsored by his QFS Mates, D Forsyth & B Brown playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was T Roebig with 28 pts, runner up was M Dickson ocb from W Wieland & R Cuneo with 26 pts. The run down continued with R Maudsley 25 pts and J McGrath & D Forsyth with 24 pts. Pin Shots were received by M Dickson on 4, P Willett received 8 while B Beasley received 9. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was W Hall. This week will be a single stableford1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, kindly sponsored by M Gray & R Holland.
Saturday:
Saturday we played an American Foursomes competition kindly sponsored by H2O. Thanks, Jim for your continued support. The winners were T & S Bennett with 68.876, runners up were C & K Farnan with 71.125 followed by B May & J Gurney with 71.876. The run down went to A Gill & G Maynard 72.5, B & A Shaw 72.75, A Parker & I Pocock 72.875, S Lutter & B Calabrese 73.75, C Shannon & M Dickson 74 net, D Mortimer & P McNiven 74.25, B Freiberg & A Bennett, J McGrath & R Maudlsey 74.625 followed by D Bass & Z Eviston 74.75, K Milligan & J Miles 74.875, A & D Tomlinson, G Parker & G Philp 75.25, P Gerhardt & W Martin 75.5, S & L Edwards, R Lawrie & E VanHaeften 75.75. Pin shots were received by J Surawski & D Kuhnemann on 4/13, B Calabrese & S Reid received 8/17 while K Milligan & Z Eviston received 9/18. R Lawries’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot. Rob wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot to $60 next time. This week will be The Boonah Rotary Club Open Day.
