Monday the Veterans had 29 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was R Burnett ocb from runner up R Freeman with 38 pts. The run down went to D Mortimer 36 pts, S Kopelke, G Clark & G Sharpe 35 pts followed by R Lawrie & W Lovett 34 pts and W Hill, R Stinson, D Bass, K McQuilty & D Wall with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by D Mortimer with a hole in 1 on 4/13, G Sharpe received 8/17 while J Gurney received 9/18, while the ladies were received S Kopelke & D Wall..
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 12 players play a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy. The winner was V Hume with 69 net, runner up was R Picton with 71 net. The run down went to S Reid & D Marshall 72 net and N Stanfield with 73 net. Pin shots were received by T Reid Pocock on 4/13 while S Grace received 8/17. This week will be a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by The Boonah Tavern. This is an Invitational Day.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by Mitre 10 Hardware playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was R Maudsley with 44 net, runner up was D Stanfield with 46 net. The run down went to P Willett 47 net, B Brown, W Wieland, B Shaw, L Vandenbrink, G Yeomans, R Cuneo, J More & M O’Reilly with 49 net. Pin shots were received by B Beasley on 13 & 18 while B Shaw received 17. B Shaw was the best gross for the day with 54 off the stick. The Mens Winner was B May ocb from runner up D Stanfield with 67net, followed by T Roebig with 68 net ocb. The Ladies winner was L Edwards with 69 net, runner up was Z Eviston with 70 net, followed by A Tomlinson with 72 net.
