Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 28 players play a single stableford competition. The winner was J Browning with 37 pts, runner up was W Gnech with 36 pts. The run down went to R Burnett 35 pts, L Blunt & W Maudsley 34 pts followed by D Stanfield, G Hunt, P Hutson, C Petroholis, S Dennis and M Gnech with 32 pts. Pins shots were received by J Gurney, D Stanfield & J Browning.
Womens:
Wednesday the Women had 9 players tee off, playing a single stableford competition, for a club trophy. The winner was D Marshall with 35 pts, runner up was D Kuhnemann with 31 pts. The run down went to V Little 30 pts, S Grace & B Dover 27 pts, followed by N Stanfield with 26 pts. Pin shots were received by D Kuhnemann on 4/13 while V Little received 8/17. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition, for a club trophy.
Pennants:
Friday the women played Oxley at Brookwater going down 4/3. S Savery, J Dover & H Roebig having wins while B Dover, J Wilson, L Edwards & N Stanfield going down.
The Sunday Pennants also suffered a loss against Wolston Park at Mt Warren Park going down 6/1. T Reid Pocock had a win with S McKenzie, S Reid, Z Eviston, D Marshall, R Picton & A Mazzei having a loss.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by J McGrath playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was K Brown ocb from runner up B Beasley with 27 pts. The run down went to L Blunt & J More 26 pts, R Burnett 25 pts followed by D Stanfield, G Parker & C Gatehouse 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Wyvill on 13, K Brown received 17 and M Wyvill received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was J More. Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by E & W Bentley playing a single stableford competition. The winner was C Spalding with 40 pts, runner up was B Lynch ocb from R Bodey with 39 pts, followed by J McGrath ocb from T O’Connell with 38 pts, followed by W Gnech 37 pts and J Browning & M Jackwitz ocb with 36 pts. The run down went to J Wilson, D Bass & W Maudsley 36 pts, C Fletcher 35 pts, followed by S O’Connell & M Wyvill 34 pts, S Bailey, C McKlaren, M Dickson & G Williams 33 pts and B Gotke, J Surawski, B Sampson & S Edwards with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by M Wyvill & L Edwards on 4/13, M Jackwitz & L Edwards received 8/17 while L McKlaren received 9/18. K Sawtells’ name was randomly selected for the Captains Pot.
