Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 37players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was J Picton with 40 pts, runner up was B May with 38 pts. The run down went to B Philp & C Petrohilos 35 pts, J Browning, D Wall & R Lawrie 34 pts and J Gurney & M Gnech with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt, W Hill, R Lawrie, K Wilson & C Petrohilos while A Tomlinson & D Wall received the ladies.
Womens:
The Women had 13 players play a 4BBB stableford competition, kindly sponsored by H Roebig. The winners were B Dover & V Hume, runners up were V Sampson & L Edwards. The run down went to A Mazzei & D Kuhnemann. The pin shot on 4/13 was received by B Dover while 8/17 was received by S Grace.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by J More & B Harding playing a single stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was A Hertweck ocb from runner up B Beasley 25 pts ocb. The run down went to G Parker, J McGrath & G Eviston 25 pts and S Lee & L Blunt with 24 pts Pin shots were received by G Parker on 4, L Blunt received 8 while B Beasley received 9. The achievements of the day was S Fahey with an underpar round. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was C Shannon. This week will be sponsored by T Henderson playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by Tony Holland Funerals The winner was J Grimsey with 40 pts, runner up was R Dewar ocb from M Herrington, S Reid & K Wilson 39 pts followed by W Hill, S Grace & G Eviston with 38 pts ocb. The run down went to R Bodey 38 pts, A Gill, B Lynch, M Cavanagh, I Pocock, G Philp, D Bass, A Leary & C Whyte 37 pts and C Spalding, J Miles, K McQuilty, R Lawrie, M Dickson, G Saunders, K Sawtell & M Jackwitz with 36 pts. Pin shots were received by M Weber & S Reid on 4/13, R Bodey & S Reid received 8/17 and G Parker received 9/18. J Pfingsts’ name was randomly selected to the Captains Pot. Jill wasn’t at presentation so it will jackpot this week. This Saturday will be sponsored by C F & J E Miles playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. This is a 7 am & 12.30 Shot Gun starts and is the OOM for the Moreton District.
Sunday: No Social Club this week. Social play will be available all day. Please ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
