Monday the Veterans had 52 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was J Browning with 40 pts, runner up was G Philp ocb from W Lovett with 39 pts. The ball run down continued with M Panzram & L Edwards 38 pts, G Brockie, C Petrohilos, D Wall & L Blunt 37 pts followed by T Henderson, D Harding, B Harding & R Lawrie with 36 pts. Pin Shots were received by J Browning, D Harding & C Siellaff while the ladies were received by D Wall & S Kopelke.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 11 players play a single stableford competition, kindly sponsored by Elite Meats Boonah. The winner was V Hume with 40 pts, runner up was V Sampson with 39 pts. The run down went to S Reid 36 pts & R Picton with 35 pts ocb. Pin shots were received by L Edwards on 4/13 while V Hume received 8/17. This week will be single stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by T & H Roebig from Vanberry Cottage playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was G Searle with 27 pts, runner up was K Hammond with 26 pts. The run down went to R Scells 25 pts and L Blunt with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt on 13, W Wieland received 17 while K Hammond received 18. The Boonah Tavern Dice Winner was G Hunt. The Mens A Grade Winner was W Maudsley with 41 pts, runner up was J Browning ocb from W Gnech with 36 pts ocb. B Grade winner was A Parker 41 pts, runner up was D Baldwin with 40 pts, followed by R Cuneo 38 pts ocb. C Grade winner was D Tomlinson 40 pts, runner up was C Stephan 39 pts, followed by B Philp with 37 pts ocb. The Ladies Winner was Z Eviston ocb from runner up S Reid with 40 pts, followed by H Roebig with 37 pts. The Social Winner was M Morrison, runner up was G Andrews followed by G Roberts. This week our Division 2 side played Toogoolawah at Ipswich. The Boys had a win 5-2. S Bennett won 5/4, G Hunt lost 2 down, A Parker won 2/1, T Bennett lost 2 down, D Beazley won 6/4, J Surawski won 4/3 and J Miles won 1 up.
With Sunday:
We have a small Social Club this week using some of the buggies. Social play will be available to play amongst them, though we ask you to book your round and buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
