Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 41 players play a single stableford competition, for the final competition for the year. The winner was T Roebig with 39 pts, runner up E Van Haeften ocb from R Lawrie with 38 pts. The run down continued with D Beazley, C Petrohilos & G Sharpe with 37 pts, R Holland & G Philp 36 pts followed by W Hill, P Duncan, S Dennis D Gittins, B Hamilton, D Wall & N Halls with 33 pts. Pins shots were received by R Lawrie & D Bass while S Kopelke & V Hume received the ladies. The Veterans will return on Monday to the 5th January 2026.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a 2 ball Ambrose competition for our Closing Day. The winners were E & W Bentley, runners up were B May & J Browning followed by S Lutter & B Calebrese. The run down went to J McGrath & P King, R Cunoe & A Hertweck, C Gatehouse & B Lynch, D Bass & N Mulligan, P Schwarz & J Davis, M Wyvill & P Eggenhuizen, G Eviston & S Fahey and W Gnech & W Maudsley. Pin shots were received by D Bass on 1/10, D Spink received 4/13, S Fahey received 7/16, D Sping received 8/17 and B May received 9/18
The Saturday competition will resume on the 3rd January, 2026 playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition, kindly sponsored by S & L Edwards.
Sunday:
No Social Club this week. Social play will be available, though we ask you to ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
