Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 50 players, play a single stableford competition. The winner was E Van Haeften ocb from runner up J Browning with 39 pts. The run down went to D Mortimer 38 pts, G Rowan 37 pts, M Gnech 36 pts, followed by D Bass, J Gurney & R Lawrie 34 pts and R Holland, L Blunt, W Hill & G Hunt with 33 pts. Pins shots were received by G Philp, E Van Haeften & D Bass while D Wall received the ladies.
Womens:
The Women started their year with a single stableford competition, for a club trophy. The winner was D Kuhnemann ocb from runner up R Picton with 33 pts. The run down went to S Grace 32 pts, N Mulligan 30 pts followed by S Savery & L Edwards 29 pts and B Dover with 26 pts. The pin shot on 8/17 was received by B Dover.
Sporters:
The Sporters were sponsored by T Russell & G Hunt playing a single stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was W Gnech with 28 pts, runner up was G Eviston with 27 pts. The rundown went to J McGrath & A Hertweck 26 pts, followed by B Beasley & R Scells 25 pts and G Hunt 24 pts. Pin shots were received by J Picton on 13, G Eviston received 17 while B Beasley received 18. The achievements of the day were R Freeman having a 5 pointer and B Brown with the NAGA. The Boonah Tavern Dice winner was M Gray. This week will be the John Maynard Memorial sponsored by his family, playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition kindly sponsored by B P Boonah. Thanks to Russell & Warren for the continued support. The A Grade winner was A Gill with 67 net, runner up was J Gurney with 68 net. B Grade winner was M Oberle with 67 net, runner up was C Jorgensen with 71 net. C Grade winner & monthly medal winner was K Hammond with 65 net, runner up was D Tomlinson with 73 net. The womens winner and monthly medal winner was D Kuhnemann with 70 net, runner up was J Pfingst with 72 net. Pin shots were received by G Martin & T Reid Pocock on 4/13, J Gurney & V Hume received 8/17 and M Herrington & J Pfingst received 9/18. The run down went to B Beasley 70 net, K Wilson & W Gnech 71 net, B Lawrance, B Lynch, W Martin, P King, G Eviston, S Reid & W Dalco 72 net, followed by D Green, A Duncan, S Bailey, J McGrath & R Maudsley 73 net and A Parker, E Bentley, R Lawrie, D Mortimer, G Yeomans, C Perrem & M Dickson with 74 net. The Captains Pot was won by D Tomlinson so will stay at $20. This week will be sponsored by Mr Wong Hydraulics playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition.
Sunday: No Social Club this week. Social play will be available, though we ask you to ring the club to book your round and a buggy if requiring one to avoid disappointment.
